In Morera’s research, development and innovation department, we have a complete team of professionals. We develop and research new and innovative solutions for the protection and nutrition of crops and plants.
Our company is committed to an incessant search for new solutions and alternative systems for crop protection and the optimization of available natural resources. We have a department dedicated to R&D in agriculture and its relationship with chemical products, seeking the least possible environmental impact.
Chemical lab
Our chemical laboratory has the latest advances in technological equipment, making it one of the most complete in the sector in Spain. In it, new formulations are designed, researched and developed.
The chemical laboratory also performs the control functions of raw materials and systematically manufactured product.
Microbiological laboratory
In the Morera microbiology laboratory, we have the most complex equipment for carrying out microbiological analysis and research. In it, trials and efficacy tests are carried out on a laboratory scale, in-vitro.
The microbiological laboratory performs an important part of quality control in various manufactured products.
Microscopy laboratory
Our microscopy laboratory allows us to fully identify pathogens, the mode of action, morphology and identification of microorganisms that cause diseases in crops, being decisive in the search for new solutions for agriculture.
Plant experimentation
We have spaces specially prepared for experimentation with vegetables, under controlled laboratory conditions. In our phytotron we can control light conditions, solar cycle, temperature and humidity. In the greenhouse, we can regulate the conditions by accelerating the processes we want to investigate.
Agricultural research
Research and development (R&D) in agriculture allows us not only to provide new solutions and improve the effectiveness of our own agrochemical products, but also to know how their use impacts on the crops themselves and on our planet.
Our team, made up of specialist technicians, is in charge of providing the results of the investigation and, when the desired results are obtained, directing the project towards its implementation.
